There
have been several inquiries regarding HARC membership donations and
how they are utilized.
Out of
the donations received:
22%
are earmarked for Administrative costs.
10%
Pavement Repair (ie: 1 rd potholes)
10%
for Emergency Fund
At the
end of the year, any funds remaining go into a General Fund to be
distributed among the Letter Roads or may be used for a special
project. Some projects in past years include:
1 Rd
shoulder work – material and labor
C Rd &
9 Rd wash out area – material and labor
E Rd –
3 sections of paving on wash out areas
1 Rd
end of pavement to G Rd – Gravel resurfacing
The
HARC website should be up and running the end of August 2009. We will
post our 2009 HARC budget including collections & expenses on a
monthly basis.
