 Please take care of your dogs!Dogs running loose in the Acres is a common problem. These dogs are often dangerous to pets, livestock and people. Just this morning a lady reported her cat had been killed by loose dogs on 3 Rd between F & G. There are leash laws and dangerous dog laws. Dogs are not permitted to range free. They must be tied up or fenced in the owners' property. Please immediately report strange, loose dogs to the Keaau Humane Society 966-5458. If there is imminent fighting, biting or the threat of biting involved, please call 911 to report the problem right away. We must all report incidences to strongly encourage dog owners to be more responsible and neighborly. A "paper trail" of reported problems is one way to help. Hopefully, some of these owners may even be fined for their lax dog control. Everyone helping will keep our neighborhoods safer. Mahalo! |
